Today was set for a tough battle against an evenly matched EC7 side and the Away team came well prepared looking dangerous!!!

It was a fast pace start with chances at both ends but EC7 took the lead with a very good strike , 0-1 after 10 mins and it was now all about our reaction!

In true Warrior fashion it took 4 mins for the Equaliser with a well worked team goal and it is now game on....

Sandhurst's performance levels just rose and rose and we could have taken the lead several times in the first half but we went in all square at the break.

The second half proved more dominant and the mighty warriors scored two more and we found ourselves in a strong position with 20 mins left on the clock, EC 7 did not lay down and sneaking in a second with 10 mins to go and they pushed hard for an equaliser.

Unfortunately for the away side , the warriors were in no mood to let their lead slip and I can only describe the last 10 mins as inspirational! Sandhurst Women puffed out their chests, broadened their shoulders and said , NO CHANCE!! The defending, holding and counterattacking was immense and the opposition never looked like scoring.

Another unbelievable performance by an incredible bunch of human beings, Warriors! Bravissimo!
